How we help older adults fear no age.
As home to the Rotman Research Institute and scientific headquarters for the largest national dementia research initiative, the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging, Baycrest is a hub for over 300 researchers working to prevent, detect and treat dementia.
Through innovative initiatives such as Baycrest@Home, the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, the Possibilities by BaycrestTM memory care model, the Baycrest Innovation Office and Baycrest Global Solutions, we are helping older adults across the Baycrest campus and beyond.
Our compassionate care focuses on the enhancement of the entire person. Our pioneering clinical programs, engaging arts and culture sessions and wholesome nutrition are all informed by Baycrest-led innovation and research.
Baycrest has trained thousands of healthcare practitioners and students around the world. More than 180 staff members hold academic appointments at partner universities and colleges.
